Describe the food.
Westward is a water-inspired restaurant that celebrates Northwest cuisine with an emphasis on showcasing the freshest, most seasonal ingredients from local purveyors whenever possible. We encourage sharing and feasting…

Can I make a reservation, please?
Reservations are always encouraged, but are not required. Tables can be reserved through our website or OpenTable for parties of six or fewer. We do have quite a bit of walk-in availability each night, but a reservation is the only way to guarantee a spot when you arrive. For parties of seven to ten people, please email our reservationist to inquire about availability. For parties larger than ten, please email our Event Director at parties@westwardseattle.com.

I have dietary restrictions…
Our menu changes frequently to showcase only the most fresh and seasonal ingredients. We do our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions by omitting ingredients when possible. We apologize, but no substitutions can be made.

Who owns Westward?
Westward is a part of Joshua Henderson’s restaurant group, Huxley Wallace Collective.

Will Westward cater my wedding or event?
Yes, we’d love to bring all of the best of our waterfront dining to you! We offer several different options and packages, and would like to hear more about your vision to create your perfect party. Head over to our catering page and let’s get the party started!

Who designed the restaurant?
Matthew Parker is our designer, and Electric Coffin built the art installations behind the bar and oyster bar.

Where can I park my car, bike or boat?
We have a few spaces in a small parking lot on the property, but most people park in the free public parking across the street in the back-in angle parking on N. Northlake Way. There are plenty of bike locks just outside our fire pit, or pull your kayak up on the beach. If you have a boat, you may park at our dock! However, we do recommend that you call us on busy sunny days, as spots are limited.

A jacket or flip flops?
All we ask is that our guests wear shoes and shirts while dining at Westward, including in the outdoor areas. Other than that, please be comfortable. Many guests come dressed to impress, while others are here to relax…the choice is yours.

I’d like to bring in my own wine…
We would rather you experience Westward, by checking out all we have to offer! However, if you want to bring your own, we have a corkage fee of $25 per bottle and allow up to two bottles to be brought in per table.

Do you have a private dining space for an event I’m planning?
Yes, we do! For more information, visit our parties page or contact our Event Director at parties@westwardseattle.com.

Can we reserve a specific table? We want a view of the water/privacy/something quiet.
When making your reservation, you are welcome to leave a request for certain types of seating in your reservation notes. Due to a large volume of requests of this nature, we can’t make any guarantees except that we will do our absolute best to accommodate. Please note that all patio tables are communal.

Can we reserve something outside?
In general, our Adirondack chairs and fire pit are seated on a first come, first served basis. We offer the full menu in that area. If you would like to reserve one of those areas, or ensure patio seating for a special occasion, we have limited availability with a contract and deposit. Please visit our parties page or contact our Event Director at parties@westwardseattle.com for more information.

Can we order food to go?
Due to the high volume of orders sent to our kitchen, we do not take orders for meals to go. Guests who have dined with us, however, are welcome to take leftovers home with them.
